Fernando Viana

Fernando is a Brazilian born fashion designer, whose interest in recycling began early in his career with his involvement in the productions of Carnival decorations; designed and created with reclaimed materials. His broad range of skills has included a degree in Advertising and courses in couture, garment construction and degrees in Tourism, Visual Art in print-making.

Fernando's designs are visionary and unconventional combining painting, patchwork, cutting and reassembling vintage scraps and fabrics to produce unique pieces.

Each piece is made with tender loving care and comes with a hand written note from Fernando himself for that personal touch.

We know you will love his designs as much as we do as they are PERFECT for summer.

YULL Shoes

Sarah Watkinson-Yull established Yull in 2011 at 21. She completed her studies at Philip Green's Fashion Retail Academy in 2009 before working for the family business in particular focusing on the import, export aspects of business. Since then she has taken the decision to combine her creative side and ardour for fashion with her business knowledge in the launching of her shoe brand Yull.

Sarah says that Yull is 'style over fashion', a break from the current trend-following flow of impracticable and ephemeral shoe brands.

In 2012 she received funding from the Prince's trust to set up manufacturing in the UK. Yull is one of the only independent shoe brands manufacturing high heels in Britain.

The perfect accessory to any outfit i'm sure you'll agree. Take a look at Yull shoes at www.itsmygeneration.co.uk

Dainty Damsel

We are an original, quality and innovative costume jewellery company. We have grown considerably recently and because we started from scratch 2 years ago understanding metals, to finishes, to building various components and putting them together, we really do understand what constitutes quality and design.
We only stock jewellery that has either been originally designed by us, or carefully selected by us. We also don’t buy, or produce en mass, so you can be sure you really will be buying something niche and special whether it’s a gift for a friend or a treat for yourself.
We have over 20 years fashion experience and are constantly striving to exceed customer’s expectations and push the boundaries in design. We believe everyone can enjoy our designs and wear them with confidence.

I know you will love them as much as we do so take  a look at their products at www.itsmygeneration.co.uk.

Stars of the Future!

At Its My Generation we are always on the look out for great young British talent in the fashion and design world....and boy have we found one for you!!

Award Winning

ALEXANDRA CLARKE

Alex Clarke is at the very beginning of her fashion journey. Currently she is studying Fashion and Design at Oxford Brookes and next year will embark on a three year BA Honours Fashion and Design course at Kingston University in London.
Her first ever collection of dresses was inspired by galaxies, the solar system and star constellations. The quirky construction techniques of space shuttles and the majestic swirling colours of the galaxies all helped to inspire the structure and design as well as informed the fabric choices and inspired her to make her own fabrics. Alex’s work has a sculptural element to it as well as being wearable and figure flattering. The garments incorporate the 1960’s space age sensation as well as creating the illusion of a slimming silhouette with all the detailing enhancing the hourglass figure.
All of her garments are handmade and she has a keen eye for attention to detail.  The way in which the stunning detailed panels down the dresses are created is through layering of many different fabrics and then cutting them away to reveal others, this technique means that each garment is entirely individual and you will see no two garments that are the same.
Alex has also showcased in fashion shows and has won an award for Best in Fashion and Textiles.

Im sure you will agree that Alex is a very talented designer and one to definitely watch out for.
